Threading increased my facial hair

If fine, soft hair is taken out from an area unnecessarily during waxing or threading, this may in turn cause a stronger, darker hair growth.

Threading is another alternative to waxing and vice a versa. Both methods of hair removal can increase hair growth due to the nature of the treatment. Both methods of hair removal take out the hair from the hair follicle. It’s a bit like plucking the hair but just quicker, more hairs are removed at once.
Threading was first used in Eastern countries for centuries. Though the exact origins of the technique are unknown, many believe it originated in the Middle East and South Asia, and then spread to become popular in Far Eastern countries like China

Waxing originates from ancient Egyptians, a smooth and hairless body was the standard of beauty, youth and innocence for a woman in Egypt, the Greeks also adopted this ideal of smoothness (this is still a common belief today).

Waxing and threading are used commonly for eyebrow & facial hair removal. There is however one down fall once you start waxing or threading, the procedure will need to be repeated every 4 weeks to maintain the flawless hair free look.

It is important to remember waxing, threading and any temporary hair removal technique may increase hair growth!
