How common are red blood spots?

How can red blood spots be treated?

Campbell de Morgan blood spots are treated using a diathermy current, this is an alternating current obtained from a digital or computerised electrolysis machine. The current is produced at the tip of the needle and produces heat. The heat is used to coagulate the blood.

This method of removal prevents treating the surrounding healthy tissue giving a more accurate procedure for the affected area.

We are all individual; with this in mind you will be given a full explanation of your own lesions and be guided before, during and after your procedure.
